Shirley Smith High School has a range of modern spaces available for use by community and sporting groups and organisations, thereby enriching the range of extra-curricular activities available in our local area.
Facilities include:
- double gymnasium with basketball, netball, futsal and volleyball markings (with kitchen facilities if needed)
- covered hard-surface sporting courts suitable for basketball and netball
- outdoor grass playing field suitable for soccer, rugby union and rugby league.
Facilities can be hired on a one-off or regular basis for games, training, meetings and activities by community and sporting groups and organisations. Evening and weekend bookings are available.
Please be aware that:
- No food or drinks to be taken into the hall space – however, the entrance can be used for this purpose and community kitchen can be hired for an additional cost.
- Alcohol is not allowed on the premises.
- High heels cannot be worn on the hall floor.
- AV facilities including screen, sound and VGA/HDMI ports are available
- Chairs and tables are available for use on request.
- Hire times/charges are to include set-up and pack-up time
